"Iberostar Caya Santa Maria was disappointing. Beautiful position Size of rooms good. TV didnt work nor did toilet flush - long walk to nearest toilet esp in middle of night. Repairs slow. Public toilets by dining room smelly with no toilet paper in need of repair. Computers in business centre very slow Limited theme dining rooms open - could only book Italian at 9 pm for the second night of our stay - no other choice. Servce in Lobby bar slow On the plus side rooms a great size, beds comfy,"

far from a 5-star hotel, very poor value for money, not recommendable (see my TripAdvisor review)

"this refers to room 405 on 27/1/16 (room 243 used for 18-20/1 was deserving of its suite classification/ the Trinidad Grand was supremely oiled and a totally different experience to the Havana problems were multiple; room 405 was "tired" and in severe need of a revamp, the carpet was patchy, the bathroom furniture lacquer eroded, the sink mechanism faulty, the lavatory seat stained, the window latch came off in one's hand; two engineers were unable to correct the sink and window over nearly 2hr"

"This is a beautiful hotel totally let down by the restaurant. The food was poor, it was cold, it was poorly presented. Unforgivably my wifes fish was uncooked. We sent it back. However, she suffered food poisoning for the rest of the holiday. The source was clearly your hotel kitchen. There was no apology given from the chef, maitre d'hote nor front desk. In two weeks in Cuba this was the only issue I had with the food. It is total disgrace that it came from a self styled International company."

"We are so pleased our travel agent organized our stay in your wonderful hotel. The position of the hotel is ideal when one wishes to explore the historical area of Havana.Importantly it is a very safe area we observed. The hotel itself is most impressive and we found all staff from the girls on the front counter,the service personal,the waiters,waitresses and also the concergie particularly polite and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending friends and business acquainces to the"
